About Executive Chef Eric Gantz
Gantz’s responsibilities within M Catering include the creation and production of hundreds of dishes, recipes, and menus, the training and supervision of over 20 employees, and the execution of various types of catering functions ranging from bar mitzvah’s and weddings, to corporate luncheons and cocktail parties.
Prior to coming to M Catering, Gantz honed his craft in a variety of regional restaurants including the Providence Restaurant and Bar, the Valley Forge Sheraton, and the Whitemarsh Valley Inn. Most notably, Gantz owned and operated the acclaimed Amea, a south Jersey BYOB. Recent accolades of Gantz and Amea included: Philadelphia Magazine’s “Best of Philadelphia 2004”- BEST STEAK; Philadelphia Magazine’s “Top Ten Rising Star Chefs 2004”; Philadelphia Magazine’s “Top Suburban Restaurants 2004”; New Jersey Life Magazine’s “Top 25 Chefs in New Jersey 2004”; and South Jersey Magazine’s “Best of South Jersey 2004”- BEST EUROPEAN-STYLE RESTAURANT.
Gantz is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. He currently resides in Drexel Hill, PA with his wife and 2 children.
